Lucky Number 7 ~ Kailua Family Newborn Photography

When I heard baby number 7 had arrived, I was overjoyed for the T family! I photographed their last 2 kids as newborns and couldn’t wait to meet the newest addition. The older siblings are all so kind, smart, and well behaved- with a great sense of humor. I love how their parents are calm and get on their level, speaking softly to provide guidance. Baby M is truly blessed to grow up surrounded by such love.

I photograph siblings frequently, but I’ve never photographed 6 siblings with their new baby! This was an exciting first for me and I’m so glad the kids were all excited to pose with their littlest sister.

Of course mom and dad got a few solo with their youngest. Dads kissing babies gets me EVERY TIME- it’s the absolute sweetest thing.

Miss Bright Eyes didn’t want to miss a moment, and I’ve rarely seen a baby only 6 days old stay awake for so long! She was calm and content most of the time, so I captured a few beautiful images of her with her eyes open.

Toward the end, she fell into a deep sleep and allowed me to photograph her in this darling white setup. The tiny wrought iron bed is one of my new favorites, and it’s perfect for newborns to one year olds.

One of my most requested setups is the white wreath- it’s so delicate and feminine, and with a few variations (dressed, swaddled, or pure) and by switching out the headbands each portrait is unique. Baby M definitely loved it, as you can see by her smiles!
